The 248th winner of the St Leger, held on Saturday 14th September 2024 over 1 mile 6 furlongs and 132 yards of Town Moor, was Jan Brueghel, a bay colt by Galileo out of Devoted To You, owned by Magnier, Tabor, Westerberg and Smith. A field of 7 runners contested the race which was worth £421,355 to the winner, and Sunway, who finished 4th, was promoted to third over Deira Mile after a Stewards Enquiry.
